What is the medication?
Semaglutide (brand name Wegovy or Ozempic) is a non-stimulant injectable medication that can help reduce bodyweight by working on the appetite control centers in the brain. Semaglutide works by mimicking the GLP-1 hormone that decreases ghrelin hormones and increasing leptin hormones making you feel fuller and resulting in decreased caloric intake which can lead to weight loss.Common Side Effects

- Must have BMI greater than 30 or equal to 27 with issues such as heart disease, diabetes or sleep apnea.
